About

I'm a student who loves science, people, and figuring out how the two connect.

I've always been the kind of person who wants to try a little bit of everything. My research has taken me through neuroscience, cancer detection, and clean water, and along the way I've learned that I care just as much about the people behind the problems as the problems themselves.

Outside of the lab I speak, lead, and stay involved in my community, because the ideas that stick with me are the ones I get to share with other people. I'm always looking for the next thing to learn and the next room to be curious in. If any of that sounds like your kind of thing, I'd love to connect.

Research

Four questions I set out to answer.

01
Neuroscience · AI

Detecting Psychiatric Disorders with EEG

A low-cost EEG headset paired with a machine learning model that identifies signs of psychiatric disorders with roughly 89% accuracy, built to make early screening more accessible.

Research extended at the GMU EEG Lab
02
Oncology · Diagnostics

Early Detection of Lobular Breast Cancer

Investigating TNF-α in menstrual blood as a non-invasive biomarker for catching lobular breast cancer earlier, when it is hardest to detect and most treatable.

Reviewed by experts from NYU, Harvard & Georgetown
03
Sustainability

Solar-Driven Microplastic Removal

A sustainable, solar-powered method for removing microplastics from water, designed to be low-cost and scalable for communities that need clean water most.

Research done at GMU & Johns Hopkins
04
Machine Learning · Safety

Preventing Distracted Walking

A stepwise system that uses technology to detect and prevent distracted walking, reducing avoidable accidents caused by phone use on the move.
